Jean-Lou Chameau

Dr. Chameau

The Georgia Tech Earth Day Committee is proud to announce Dr. Jean-Lou Chameau as the recipient of the first annual Environmental Leadership Award. After reviewing the accomplishments of a pool of candidates, Dr. Chameau was selected as having made the most significant impact at Georgia Tech. His dedication to creating a more sustainable society at Tech and throughout the world, his commitment to environmental issues, and his overall vision of how we should be responsible stewards of the Earth clearly made him our top candidate. He has been a steadfast supporter of Earth Day at Georgia Tech from the very beginning and an advocate for environmental programs across campus. The Georgia Tech community is fortunate to have someone with his dedication committed to these issues.

Dr. Chameau was presented with the ELA award at the 2004 Earth Day celebration.
